In an inspiring initiative, the students of Good Morning Grammar High School conducted an extensive survey on food production and consumption across Mahadevpur village. This movement, entirely student-led, aimed to understand how much food the community produces and consumes — from farm to family.
The survey covered a wide range of items under production such as the land people own, the number of hens and goats they raise, eggs and meat produced, vegetables grown, and milk sold. Under consumption, the students collected data on eggs, rice, oil, milk, fruits, vegetables, and meat consumed by local families.
After weeks of field visits, data collection, and analysis, the students compiled a detailed report showing Mahadevpur’s strong agricultural roots and self-sustainability. For instance, the survey revealed impressive statistics — thousands of liters of milk produced and consumed, along with significant vegetable and egg production for both family use and sale.

To celebrate their learning, the ninth-grade students transformed their research into a creative drama performance that depicted the journey of food from the soil to the plate. The play beautifully highlighted the importance of sustainable farming, local produce, and mindful consumption.
Their performance was presented at the District Level Drama Competition, where it received overwhelming appreciation. The team proudly brought home two prestigious honors — Best Script Award and Best Director Award — a testament to their hard work, creativity, and commitment to community awareness.

This project was more than just a school activity; it was a movement of awareness and action, showing how young minds can contribute meaningfully to understanding and improving their community.
